Maria Rosa Barbiero-Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Maria Rosa Barbiero, age 85 died Feb 13, 1993 in Tooele, Utah. Born Feb 24, 1907 in Pedivigliano, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy to Raffaele and Maria Barbiero.
Married Saverio Barbiero, Feb 24, 1929 in Pedivigliano, Italy. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Luigi and Pauline Barbiero,Salt Lake City, Utah;Eugenio (Gene) and Janet Barbiero;brother in law and sister-in-law Orlando and Clara Barber; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, Saverio;daughter and son-in-law, Michelina and James Fuoco. Rosa was an active member of St. Ann's Catholic Church for 43 years. She enjoyed being with her family and especially her grandchildren. "We will miss you Nana". In liew of flowers,family requests donations be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church or St. Marguerite's Catholic Church Building Fund.
Viewing will be held Tuesday at 7PM. The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday,Feb 17 at 10:30AM at St. Ann's Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and "T" Street. Funeral directors,Tate Mortuary 13 Feb 1993 in Tooele, Utah
